Creamy Pesto Chicken Gnocchi

Cook the seasoned chicken in hot oil, until evenly browned and cooked through. Move to a plate to drain.

In the same skillet, sear the gnocchi. Add water and cook until gnocchi is tender. Move to the plate with the chicken.

Sauté the garlic in butter. Pour in the milk or heavy cream, and broth, then add the pesto sauce. Simmer for 2 minutes.

Return the gnocchi and chicken to the skillet. Mix in lemon juice, zest, salt and pepper. Cook until heated through.

Serve  garnished with toasted pine nuts, Parmesan cheese, and fresh basil. Enjoy!

Can I use homemade pesto instead of store-bought?
