Crispy Southern Corn Fritters are the absolute best summer recipe! You simply need fresh, frozen, or canned corn to mix into a cheesy batter, and then pan fry the patties until you have a sweet and crispy dish.

Sweet Kernel Corn | Flour Baking Powder | Paprika Garlic Powder | Salt | Pepper Sugar | Cilantro | Eggs  Milk | Shredded Cheese Avocado Oil | Green Onions Sour Cream

KEY INGREDIENTS

Dab corn with a paper towel until completely dry. Whisk together flour, baking powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and sugar in a large bowl. Add corn, cilantro, whisked eggs, milk, and cheese. Stir until the mixture is well combined.

INSTRUCTIONS

Add oil to a large stainless steel or cast iron skillet. Heat oil until it begins to sizzle. Measure out 1/3 cup of batter for each fritter. Place batter for 4-5 fritters evenly in the skillet. Press each one lightly with the back of a spatula and cook for 3-4 minutes per side.

You know the corn fritters are done cooking when they fluff up and turn lightly browned and crispy. Serve corn fritters with a dollop of sour cream or some homemade aioli with a sprinkle of green onions.

Enjoy!
