Learn How to Boil Corn so that the kernels come out crisp and tender but not tough! Corn is shucked to remove the husks and silk, then boiled to perfection in this simple recipe.

KEY INGREDIENTS

Cut and remove the stalk ends. Grab from the untrimmed end and pull to remove the husk and the silk strands in one go.

INSTRUCTIONS

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add peeled corn and let return to a boil. Once boiling reduce to medium heat and boil for 4-5 minutes. Flip the corn halfway through cooking.

Corn is ready when it can easily be pierced with a fork. Remove the corn using tongs. Place on a paper towel to let drain. Serve with butter and a sprinkle of salt.
