Once you’ve learned How to Cut a Kiwi, you can enjoy this healthy fruit whenever you like. Peeling the skin with a knife or spoon is incredibly easy, and can be done in no time at all.
Spoon method #1:
Using a sharp knife, cut off both ends of the kiwi. Place a spoon between the flesh and skin. Gently work the spoon in while turning the kiwi. Slice into rounds, wedges, strips, or cubes!
Spoon method #2:
Cut the kiwi in half width wise. Place a spoon where the flesh meets the skin. Gently work the spoon into the fruit while rotating the kiwi. Scoop out the kiwi, cut into rounds, wedges, strips, or cubes!
Knife method:
Cut and remove both ends of the kiwi.
Place the kiwi flat side down on the cutting board. Place the knife into the flesh right next to the skin. Cut downward with the curve of the fruit.
Slice into rounds, wedges, stripes, or cubes!
Ripen it quickly. Place the kiwi in a paper bag with a banana or apple in order to ripen it faster.
Identify ripeness level. A ripe kiwi will smell fruity and will have a slight give when squeezed.
