BASIC SMOOTHIE FORMULA

2 Cups Frozen Fruit

1 Cup Fresh Fruit

1/2 Cup Liquid

1/2 Cup Yogurt

Optional add-ins: nuts, seeds, oils, spices, oats & protein powder

Using a mix of fresh & frozen fruit gives your smoothie the perfect consistency. Either buy frozen or freeze fresh fruit for 4-5 hours. Before making your smoothie, allow to thaw for 5-10 minutes for easy blending.

FRUIT

Unsweetened milk is the liquid of choice for the perfect smoothie. Use regular cow's milk or dairy-free alternatives such as:

Oat Milk

Almond Milk

Cashew Milk

Soy Milk

Coconut Milk

Yogurt adds creaminess and a slightly tangy bite. Plan, unsweetened yogurt or Greek yogurt is preferred.  If you are sensitive to lactose try goat milk yogurt!
