How to Roast Almonds

Toasting whole, sliced, or slivered almonds
is an easy way to bring out their natural nutty flavor and crunchy texture.
Preheat oven to 325. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Place almonds in a single layer.
Roast whole almonds in preheated oven for 9-12 minutes. Sliced almonds for 7-9 minutes. Stir halfway to prevent burning.

Heat a non-stick dry skillet over medium-low heat.Add 1 cup of almonds to the skillet in a single layer.
Toast sliced and slivered almonds for 2-3 minutes. Whole almonds for 3-5 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.
