Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat until it foams and then cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Turn the heat down to low and mix in the peanut butter, vanilla, and salt.
Add in the marshmallows and stir them until they’re coated with the peanut butter. Stir until mixture is almost smooth. Remove the pot from the heat.
Stir the Rice Krispies into the mixture until completely coated, then mix in the rest of the marshmallows.
Press the mixture down into a prepared pan using a spatula. Pour the melted chocolate over and smooth it out. Allow the bars to cool before serving.
