KEY INGREDIENTS

Wash and dry the collard greens and remove the rib from the base before cooking. Cook bacon in oil until crispy Remove and allow the grease to drain on a paper towel. Leave some of the bacon grease in the skillet.

INSTRUCTIONS

Add the diced onion to the skillet and cook. Add in some garlic and cook until fragrant. Add the cut greens and pour in the chicken broth, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir until combined.

Cover and cook for 35-40 minutes. Stir every 10 minutes. Once the greens are tender, remove from heat and stir in the bacon and vinegar. Serve immediately.
