- 4 cups bread regular, baguette, or French*
- ¼ cup oil avocado or olive oil
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning optional
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- ½ tsp. salt
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Cut bread into ¾-inch cubes using a bread knife.
Add bread cubes to a large bowl with oil, seasonings, garlic powder, and salt. Toss until cubes are well coated.
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Add bread cubes and spread out into a single layer. Bake in preheated oven for 10-20 minutes, tossing halfway through. Closer to 10 minutes if bread is a few days old, and closer to 20 minutes if it is fresh bread.
Store croutons in a resealable plastic bag or in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
