Blooming Onion Sauce Recipe

Blooming Onion Dipping Sauce is the perfect creamy and tangy accompaniment for your deep-fried or air fried dish! Prep this Outback Steakhouse copycat recipe ahead of time and have it ready to enjoy when you are.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise or a plant-based alternative
  • 1 Tbsp. ketchup regular or no sugar added
  • 2-3 tsp. horseradish to taste
  • ½ tsp. paprika
  • ¼ tsp. garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp. oregano dried
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper optional
  • ¼ tsp. salt to taste

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a medium-sized bowl and whisk to combine. Add a teaspoon of horseradish at a time, depending on your desired taste.
    ½ cup mayonnaise, 1 Tbsp. ketchup, 2-3 tsp. horseradish, ½ tsp. paprika, ¼ tsp. garlic powder, ¼ tsp. oregano, Pinch of cayenne pepper, ¼ tsp. salt
  • Serve immediately with an Air Fryer Blooming Onion or store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours for the best flavor. Enjoy!

Notes

  • One serving is roughly 1 tablespoon of sauce.
  • To Store: Seal in an airtight container and keep in the fridge for up to 1 month.
  • To Freeze: This is not recommended as the mayonnaise will separate.
