Ingredients

  • 1 lb. shrimp 20/24 count per pound, peeled and deveined, tails on or off
  • 2 Tbsp. oil avocado or olive
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce or Tamari if gluten-free
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice plus more for serving
  • 1 Tbsp. honey
  • 2 cloves garlic finely minced
  • ¼-½ tsp. salt to taste
  • tsp. black pepper
  • Parsley finely chopped, optional

  • If the shrimp have not already been prepared, peel and devein them. The tails can be left on or off depending on preference.
  • Whisk together oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, garlic cloves, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl until well combined. Add shrimp and marinate for 10-20 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
  • Place shrimp in a single layer in a 6-quart air fryer basket. Cook at 370 degrees for 6-7 minutes. Halfway through cooking, baste the shrimp with the remaining marinade from the bowl. Continue cooking until the shrimp are no longer translucent and cooked through.

Meal Prep and Storage

  • To Prep-Ahead: Shrimp is best enjoyed fresh, but you can mix up the sauce ahead of time if you need.
  • To Store: Store leftover shrimp in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 2 to 3 days.
  • To Freeze: It is best to freeze shrimp soon after cooking for best flavor. Line the leftovers on a tray in a single layer and place in the freezer for a couple of hours. Then, transfer the shrimp to a freezer-safe bag and store it for 12 months.
  • To Reheat: Warm up shrimp in the air fryer at 325℉ for 5 minutes. You can use the microwave, but it will be mushy.
