Dark Chocolate Bars w/ Sea Salt & Almonds

These Dark Chocolate Bars w/ Sea Salt & Almonds make a wonderful refined sugar free and gluten free dessert or snack.

Ingredients

  • ¼ c. coconut oil melted
  • ¼ c. honey
  • 1/3 c. + 2 T. dark cocoa powder
  • ¼ c. raw almonds coarsely chopped
  • ¼ t. sea salt coarse

Instructions

  • Mix coconut oil, honey and cocoa powder in a medium-sized bowl until completely smooth.
  • Pour mixture in a parchment or wax paper-lined 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • Sprinkle almonds and sea salt on top of the chocolate mixture.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  • To serve: break chocolate into pieces with your hands. Chocolate melts quickly so keep refrigerated between servings.
