Protein-Packed Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie

This Protein-Packed Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie is full of bananas, yogurt, and your favorite protein powder for a healthy and filling gluten-free breakfast smoothie recipe.

Ingredients

  • 3 bananas frozen, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/4 c peanut butter no sugar added
  • 1/3 c yogurt plain (or dairy-free if vegan)
  • 3 Tbsp protein powder chocolate flavored
  • 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 Tbsp honey* or agave nectar if vegan
  • 1/2 c milk or almond milk

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a large blender or food processor.
  • Blend until all ingredients are completely smooth.
  • Serve immediately in two glasses with additional peanut butter and a few chocolate chips.**

Notes

*The amount of honey you prefer can vary.  If your protein powder already has sweetener added, use the amount of honey recommended.  If your protein powder does not have a sweetener added, use additional honey.
