- 1 lb. ground sausage
- 1 cup almond flour fine
- 1 cup shredded cheese Cheddar or Monterrey Jack
- 4 oz. cream cheese softened
- 2 tsp. ranch seasoning mix homemade or store-bought
- ½ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. red pepper flakes optional
- 3 Tbsp. green onions finely chopped
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Add all of the ingredients to a large bowl. Using a spatula, mix everything together until well combined.
Scoop out 1½ tablespoons of the mixture and then roll it into a ball. Place on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining mixture. You should end up with 24 sausage balls.
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes, flipping the sausage balls over halfway through. For an extra crispy exterior, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Serve the sausage balls with a sprinkle of additional green onions and toothpicks.
