- 1-1 ¼ lbs. chicken breasts cut into 4-5 oz. portions
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 lime juice
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 2 cloves garlic finely minced
- ½ tsp. salt to taste
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Marinate the chicken: Mix together the barbecue sauce, honey, lime juice, garlic, and salt in a large bowl. Reserve ¼ cup of it. Add the chicken and toss until well combined. Optional: Marinade for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
1-1 ¼ lbs. chicken breasts, 1 cup barbecue sauce, 1 lime, 2 Tbsp. honey, 2 cloves garlic, ½ tsp. salt
Bake the chicken: Add the chicken to a 9x13-inch baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 24-26 minutes, brushing with the remaining marinade during the last 5 minutes of cooking. You’ll know the chicken is done when the middle is no longer pink and the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
