Cook the ground turkey until it is no longer pink. Add the onion and cook until translucent. Add garlic and cook briefly.

Pour in broth and milk, scraping the bottom of the pot to loosen any browned bits. Add rice and spices.

Arrange broccoli florets on top in a single layer. Do not stir. Cover and simmer until rice is cooked.

Whisk together melted butter, Panko breadcrumbs, and grated Parmesan cheese in a bowl. Stir cheese into cooked rice mixture.

Sprinkle the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture on top. Broil. Finish with thinly sliced green onions and a dollop of sour cream. Serve.

Can I use brown rice instead of white?

FAQ

You will need to adjust the amount of liquid you add and the cook time  when using brown rice. Also, add the broccoli later on since it will  need to cook longer.
