Tahini Salad Dressing Recipe

Creamy—and vegan—Tahini Salad Dressing is the best addition to any salad. This easy homemade recipe is chock full of flavor from fresh lemon, nutty tahini, sweet maple syrup, and garlic and ginger.

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. tahini
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. pure maple syrup
  • ½ lemon juice and zest
  • 1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic crushed
  • ¼ tsp. ginger minced
  • 2-3 Tbsp. water to thin out dressing

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients, except for the water, to a high-speed blender or food processor and blend for 20-30 seconds, or until smooth. Alternatively, you can whisk together ingredients in a bowl or shake until incorporated in a mason jar.
  • Mix in water, a tablespoon at a time, to thin out the dressing until you get your desired consistency.
  • Store tahini salad dressing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1-2 weeks between servings. Enjoy!
