Classic Buttercream Frosting

A gluten free buttercream frosting recipe that is perfect for cupcakes, cakes and even cookies.  This buttercream frosting is so easy to make and can be whipped up in under 5 minutes!

Ingredients

  • ½ c. butter softened
  • 1 t. vanilla clear
  • ¼ t. salt
  • 5 c. powdered sugar
  • 3-4 T. heavy whipping cream or milk

Instructions

  • Place butter, vanilla, salt, 2 cups powdered sugar and 1 T. milk in a large bowl.
  • Cream for 30 seconds, or until smooth.
  • Add 1 c. powdered sugar and 1 T. whipping cream. Cream for 30 seconds, or until smooth.
  • Repeat this step 2 more times with remaining ingredients until all ingredients are used.
