Air Fryer Green Beans

If you want a healthy side on the table fast, you're gonna love this Air Fryer Green Beans recipe. You won't believe how easy it is to season green beans and toss them in the air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 12-16 oz. green beans ends trimmed
  • 1 Tbsp. oil avocado or olive
  • 1 clove garlic finely minced
  • ½ - ¾ tsp. salt to taste
  • ¼ tsp. black pepper
  • Lemon zest and juice, optional

Instructions

  • Preheat a 6-quart air fryer to 375-380 degrees for at least 3 minutes.
  • Trim the ends from the green beans if they haven’t already been prepared.
  • Whisk together the oil, garlic, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Add the beans and toss until they’re well coated.
  • Add the beans to the air fryer basket and spread them out along the bottom.
  • Cook for 8-9 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until they’re bright green and fork tender.
  • Serve with lemon zest and juice. Enjoy!

  • How to prep ahead of time: Trim the green beans and store them in the refrigerator for up to 2 to 3 days.
  • How to store: Keep leftover crispy air fryer green beans in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 to 5 days.
  • How to freeze: Carefully put green beans in a freezer bag or container. If using a bag or plastic wrap, put a layer of aluminum foil around the outside for additional protection. This step keeps air out and reduces freezer burn. For the best results, flash freeze green beans in a single layer first to keep them from bunching together.
  • How to reheat: Cook in a skillet over medium heat with additional butter or oil as needed
