Ingredients

  • 1-2 lbs. okra

Instructions

  • Rinse whole okra in a colander to remove any visible dirt and then dry thoroughly with a dish towel. If cutting, slice into 1-inch thick pieces.
  • Place the okra in a single layer on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and freeze for at least 2-4 hours or up to overnight.
  • Once firm, transfer the okra to a freezer-safe bag, breaking apart any that are stuck together. Write the date on the front and store in the freezer for up to a year.
