Ingredients

Mediterranean Turkey Meatballs:

  • 1 lb. ground turkey 93/7
  • 1 egg
  • 2 T. cornmeal
  • 2 t. fresh dill
  • ¼ t. paprika
  • ¾ t. salt
  • ¼ t. pepper
  • ¼ t. garlic powder

Lemon Dill Yogurt Sauce:

  • ½ c. greek yogurt plain
  • 1 T. fresh dill
  • 1 T. lemon juice
  • ¼ c. feta cheese
  • 1 T. olive oil
  • 1/8 t. salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Combine turkey, egg, cornmeal, dill, paprika, salt, pepper and garlic powder together in a large bowl. Mix together with hands until completely combined.
  3. Roll 2 tablespoons of meatball mixture into a ball. Place on baking sheet that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray, or lined with parchment paper.
  4. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 18-22 minutes.
  6. While the meatballs are baking, prepare the yogurt sauce by placing all ingredients into a food processor or blender. Process for 1 minute, or until smooth. Place in the refrigerator until meatballs are done cooking.
  7. Serve hot meatballs with chilled yogurt sauce and enjoy!
