Ingredients

  • 1 8 oz. package refrigerated crescent rolls butter flavored
  • 1 12 oz. cocktail-sized smoked link sausages Lit’l Smokies

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate the triangles. Cut each triangle into 3 smaller triangles using a sharp knife or pizza cutter. Place a sausage link that has been patted dry at the wider edge of a piece of crescent dough and roll it up until it is completely wrapped around the link. Repeat this process with the remaining dough and sausages.

  3. Place them seam-side down on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet at least 1 inch apart.

  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are golden. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

Meal Prep and Storage

  • How to prep ahead of time: You can slice the dough and roll the piggies up to 1 to 2 days before you need them. Simply store the wrapped sausage pieces carefully stacked in wax paper or plastic wrap so nothing is touching (they'll stick to each other) and store them in the fridge.
  • How to store: If there are leftovers, place them in an airtight container or in zipped bag in the refrigerator for up to 4 to 5 days.
  • How to freeze: These are best stored flash frozen in a single layer for a couple of hours first and then transferred to a freezer-safe bag and kept in the freezer for up to 3 to 4 months.
  • How to reheat: You can pop these back in a 300℉ oven for 5 to 10 minutes or use the microwave to warm them back up. However, the microwave will yield slightly soggy pigs in a blanket.
