A Mexican 75 is a tequila and Champagne cocktail recipe and a fun twist on the classic French 75. With only a few simple ingredients, you'll look like a professional bartender, but it's secretly so easy to make!
Prep the Glass. Salt or sugar the rim of two 8-oz. champagne flutes.
Mix the Ingredients. Fill a cocktail shaker all of the way up with ice and add the tequila, lime juice, and agave nectar. Shake ingredients for 10-20 seconds, or until chilled.
Strain and Serve. Strain the tequila mixture between the two flutes and then fill each flute to ¾ full with the Champagne or sparkling wine. Garnish with a twist or wedge of lime and enjoy!
10 ounces Champagne
Notes
Tequila: Grab a good tequila you like the flavor of.
Lime juice: Squeeze the limes yourself for the best results.
