Homemade Italian Seasoning Recipe

Homemade Italian Seasoning is the best DIY recipe that is a blend of a few easy-to-find herbs!  You can quickly make this healthy spice mix in under 5 minutes to season your favorite chicken, pasta, or other Italian dishes and store it for over a year.

  • 1 Tbsp. oregano dried
  • 1 Tbsp. basil dried
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley dried
  • 2 tsp. rosemary dried
  • 2 tsp. thyme dried
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • ½ - 1 tsp. red pepper flakes optional


  1. Add all ingredients to a medium-sized bowl.
  2. Whisk until combined.
  3. Store seasoning mix in an airtight container 1-2 years in a cool dry place.
