Save time and money by making these Chicken Apple Sausage patties at home for breakfast. Reminiscent of Aidell's links, this recipe is so quick and easy, you'll think they're store-bought. You only need a few simple herbs and spices and you've got a delicious protein to get your day going.
Add all ingredients to a large bowl. Using either your hands or a stiff spatula, mix everything together until well combined. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each one into a patty that is roughly 3 inches in width and 1 inch thick.
Add oil to a large skillet over medium heat, making sure it completely coats the bottom. Wait a minute or two for the oil to heat up and then place the patties in a single layer. Cook for 7-8 minutes, flipping over halfway through cooking.
Serve immediately or store for up to 3-4 days in the refrigerator.
