Mother’s Day brunch sounds like a sweet, low-stakes plan until you remember someone has to actually make it. And if you’re the mom AND the cook this year… well, hi.
It’s also my first Mother’s Day with Fielder earthside. Last year I was VERY pregnant with him, so… it’s a big one.
These 27 Mother’s Day brunch recipes are my make-ahead-first picks, the ones my family makes on repeat and my readers tell me they save for May.
Most of them can be prepped the night before, assembled in the morning, or pulled out of the oven while the coffee’s still brewing. Whoever’s cooking gets to actually sit down.
The lineup is grouped by what each recipe does for the table. Sweet bakes, eggs and quiches, savory mains, the casseroles that feed a crowd, sides, and the spreads that turn the menu from “meal” to “spread.”
Pick a sweet, pick a savory, pick a make-ahead, and you’ve got yourself one delicious Mother’s Day brunch.
